Moths are probably my favourite creatures, and I have an obsession with dots, so this is one of my favourite combinations!

Limited edition fine art print.  

The ink has a lovely rich, velvety quality to it, which is enhanced by the slightly textured paper.  You can still see the detail of how I used gouache paint for the dots in the original painting.

This is such a sweet little thing.  And it has quite a few uses :

Use it as a bud vase for the table or on your desk, 

Use it on the tea tray for milk, instead of a jug (you could even pair it with a teapot :))

Use it in the bathroom as an oil diffuser:)

Best to wash by hand (the high heat of a dishwasher can cause fine cracks to form in the glaze over time).

Quick Overview

This was the second in a series of chairs that I started a little while ago.  It's called 'Garden After Party', and it came from that feeling of nostalgia  - the plastic one on the the stoep, the wire one out on the lawn, the deckchair folded up in the garage, still with a bit of sand on from the day at the beach. They represent the memories and the times they were part of; and isn't it funny how we can all relate to these chairs?!

Handpunched with 100% soft acrylic yarn
