This is a continuation of my 'Arrangement' series. I like to think of it as playful chaos. The placing of the various shapes may seem random, but they are actually arranged carefully, creating a play between the black edges and negative white space. The colourful shape is always different, and creates a focal point in the pattern. The image is made with different shapes cut into lino, inked and pressed onto the paper by hand. They don't always come out perfectly, but this is what makes subtle variations in tone and texture, creating a wabi sabi effect - perfectly imperfect:)

And what better way to enjoy the birds in your garden, or attract them to your balcony than with a quirky, colourful, one-of-kind feeding station!
18 W (base) x 12 H cm
Comes with 150 cm double hanging string and ring. Do not hang where it can knock against anything if the wind is blowing, or if birds get feisty with each other!
Only one of each.
An exploration of line, and a recurring theme of birds. I love how black and white can be so minimal, but complex at the same time.

The clean lines of this jug gives it a lovely modern feel.
Great proportions as a vase for shorter flowers, or for the traditional uses of a jug:)

The shapes are painstakingly all cut out and applied by hand, and then fired to become permanent. Although safe for the dishwasher, it's best to wash by hand, as the high heat can cause fine cracks in the glaze over time.
