This was the first in a series of chairs that I started a little while ago.  It's called 'Garden After Party', and it came from that feeling of nostalgia  - the plastic one on the the stoep, the wire one out on the lawn, the deckchair folded up in the garage, still with a bit of sand on from the day at the beach. They represent the memories and the times they were part of; and isn't it funny how we can all relate to these chairs?!

Handpunched with 100% soft acrylic yarn

Inside lining.  Backing made of cream bull denim, with zip

These are the first things I made at pottery class one I had learned a bit about slab work. I've always wanted to have a fun egg tray for the kitchen counter, and do away with the unsightly cardboard one:) Turns out these are also great for boiled eggs for the breakfast table, and some people even use them for jewellery.

Moths are probably my favourite creatures, and I have an obsession with dots, so this is one of my favourite combinations!

Limited edition fine art print.  

The ink has a lovely rich, velvety quality to it, which is enhanced by the slightly textured paper.  You can still see the detail of how I used gouache paint for the dots in the original painting.

Signed and editioned out of 50.
